Clay absorbs as you cook and improves the quality of the bakeware (and your dishes) with age and use. Terra cotta earthenware cooks slowly and evenly, retaining hot or cold for longer serving possibilities.

• Lead free glaze inside and out, bottom is not glazed for better heat conductivity

Note: For improved performance, soak your new piece in hot water up to 6 hours before use. This will “cure” and seal the dry clay for moist cooking and will benefit your piece for years to come.
