The pop series collapsible colander expands to the capacity of two and a half quarts. The unique design allows it to collapse down to a mere one and a half inches...the thickness of two dinner plates. When collapsed, it takes up to 80% less space in a dishwasher than a comparable sized standard colander. When flattened, the surfaces and holes remain exposed for optimum cleansing.
