The OXO Good Grips Silicone Flexible Tongs have to different heads for a variety of cooking needs. One head has a flat shape with thin, flexible edges that glide easily beneath foods and are perfect for flipping fragile foods, while keeping them intact. This head is also perforated to help strain the juices or oils from food like vegetables or steaks before transferring it out of the pan. The straight front edge is also great for deglazing and scraping the bottom of pans. The second head is slightly rounded, making it perfect for scooping, holding and turning foods like fish and chicken breasts. The silicone outer layer, which is heat resistant to 600 degrees F and safe for non-stick cookware, is bonded to a flexible stainless steel core for stability and ease of use.
