The Joseph Joseph Rocker^™ Stainless-Steel Garlic Crusher allows you to crush garlic cloves quickly and evenly by using downward pressure and a "rocking" motion forcing the pieces up through the mesh of holes. Once crushed, the garlic pieces are held in the shallow bowl, allowing them to be spooned or scraped easily into a pan. The unit can then be rinsed under running water and used to gently rub the hands and fingers to reduce any garlic odor (stainless-steel is thought to remove the strong odors left from handling garlic).
