TEENS SUMMER COOKING & BAKING CAMP
Join us for a fun week of cooking, with a curriculum similar to that of professional
cooking school! See dates and topics below, for teens ages 11-17.


This summer vacation (June 28th to September 3rd), we will offer 9 sessions of our
signature Teens Cooking Camps: Camp I, Camp II, Italian I, Italian II, Baking I and Baking II.
There will also be a special MASTERS CAMP in our Paramus location only.

    GENERAL PROGRAM DETAILS:
   *Each day will cover one major area of cooking.
   *Each session will finish with a family-style meal prepared by the students.
   *Cost of each week of camp is $425, refundable up to 2 weeks prior to your camp start date.
   *First-time campers are required to add-on our tool box at registration (+$75).
   *Camp is in session 9:00 am - 1:00 pm each day.


TEENS BAKING CAMP I:
This camp covers all methods of making various types of dough and batter, including
breakfast baking, breads and rolls and quickbreads.

PARAMUS, NJ:  July 5 - 9 or August 23 - 27
HARTSDALE, NY:  July 5 - 9 or August 23 - 27


TEENS BAKING CAMP II:
Covers pastries and desserts, including chocolate truffles, pies, tarts and cake decorating.

TEENS COOKING CAMP I:
Topics include sanitation and kitchen safety, knife skills, soups, stocks, sauces, baking,
Italian cuisine and barbeque. A dessert buffet will be prepared by the campers and
served at graduation on the last day.

TEENS COOKING CAMP II:
This camp takes students further into the world of cooking by covering Asian cuisine,
garde manger, seafood, Pan American and regional American cuisines. The week will
conclude with a buffet of hors d'oeuvres prepared by the students.

NEW! TEENS MASTERS CAMP (PARAMUS LOCATION ONLY):
This is an advanced curriculum for true students of the culinary arts. The program reinforces the skills and techniques that are taught in our other cooking camps and takes campers to the next level of their culinary journey. Students will create 3-course artistic plate presentations as seen in four star restaurants and on Food TV. Campers will have a culinary project for the week and will present their final product at our graduation ceremony. The registration fee includes a field trip to DePiero’s Farm in Montvale where campers will learn about produce, seafood and meat from the professionals. Transportation and lunch for the field trip are included.

TEENS ITALIAN COOKING CAMP I:
This camp covers authentic cuisine from the Veneto, Tuscany, Emilia Romagna and a variety
of other Northern Italian regions. The topics will include several varieties of pasta and
gnocchi, salads, meats and desserts.

TEENS ITALIAN COOKING CAMP II:
Teaches campers about authentic Roman, Neopolitan, Sicilian and many other Southern
Italian regional Italian cuisines. Topics will include several varieties of pasta, meats and
fish as well as marzipan fruit and cannoli.
